Shamus & Buster

The May/June 2025 issue of Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine has arrived, and with it my story, Shamus & Buster. This is my third story with EQMM, but every time I appear there is like Christmas morning.

Shamus & Buster is a 5000-word short story about a beat up alley cat helping to solve the murder of his private detective master. There are a couple personal angles which make publication of this story especially important for me, which I will touch on in my story notes in a couple weeks.
