Frankenstein Speaks!

My long labors on Gumshoe Frankenstein have made me an amateur expert on many iterations of Mary Shelley's immortal creation, and I recently had a chance to discuss the most famous manifestation of all -- the 1931 film version of Frankenstein, directed by James Whale, from Universal Pictures and starring Colin Clive, Mae Clark, Edward Van Sloan, and the great Boris Karloff.

The show is Billy D's Magazines and Monsters, and you can listen to it here. Thanks to Billy for having me on his podcast ... and if you like what you hear, we will be back in two weeks to discuss Bride of Frankenstein, with other surprises to follow in the year ahead!

Keep up with all my podcast and YouTube appearances here.
